MEET THE COLLEGE BOUND FOUNDER
Tamlyn Brooke Shusterman spent a decade performing on Broadway and holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan and an MA in Arts Administration from Columbia University, where her thesis focused on parenting exceptionally talented teens. She is also a co-producer of the Tony Award Winning Broadway musical & national tour The Outsiders and the London world premiere production of The Hunger Games On Stage.
She has built a thriving career as an advisor, mentor, and coach, guiding performing arts students into programs at Yale, UCLA, Michigan, NYU, Penn State, Carnegie Mellon, Northwestern, Boston Conservatory, Elon, USC, Oberlin, Syracuse, Berklee College of Music, and many others.
As a Broadway insider, Tamlyn understands both the industry and the admissions landscape. She knows what faculty value, how decisions are made, and how to position students with clarity and intention.
She created the College Bound Navigator Program to bring high-level strategy and insider perspective into one cohesive, structured experience. The program is designed to provide families with a clear roadmap, thoughtful guidance, and a competitive edge — empowering students to navigate the process with confidence and purpose.
